Sony Xperia Z1 undoubtedly the best from Sony yet in a smartphone. Opening Xperia Z1 back cover, you see the position of Xperia Z1 battery and motherboard chip clearly. You can see them tightened with the help of 9 screws.

Now you see the back cover of Xperia Z1, exactly same like Xperia Z. Notice the two metal contacts at top, they are for NFC enabling.

See the Yellow tape, it is used to cover the battery part.

Notice the G lens in top left corner and Xperia Z1 chip shield.

Xperia Z1 comes with a Physical Hard Reset Button

Just noticed a physical hard reset button on Xperia Z1 exactly just like Xperia ZL, SP and Z Ultra have. Well only a few Xperia phones have this physical hard reset button and is of great importance. Under the MicroSD flap we saw a small red button in Xperia Z Ultra and in Xperia SP you see it when back cover is removed at the center bottom side.

Similarly in Xperia Z1, the physical hard reset button lies under the SIM card flap area. You see a small red dot, where “OFF” is written. In case your phone hangs or freezes you can restart it by just pressing it with an object like pen/pencil for a few seconds (3) and then phone vibrates and restarts, it’s like another physical power button.

Look at the position of physical hard reset button in Xperia Z1. Below red button is answer to your query ” how to hard reset Xperia Z1 “.

In Xperia Z we use pressing “Power key + Volume up” button for a few seconds and then phone restarts. Well it seems a lot easier to us rather than pressing a physical hard reset button.

Recently we saw PTCRB listing Xperia Z1 initial 14.1.G.1.518 firmware which was seen in all stock devices at IFA 2013. Just now an XDA member from “Untitled Xperia Team” UXT has posted the latest firmware for Xperia Z1 even though it is not listed on PTCRB also.

14.1.G.1.526 firmware for Xperia Z1 has been posted at XDA for downloading, claimed as the most latest update for Xperia Z1 C6902 / L39h HSPA+ version.

Folks at TBreak said that they used “auto mode” in both phones, and the pictures were taken as what a normal user will take not a pro.

As Lumia sports 41 MP cam so much detailing in pics can be seen when you zoom them, check the pics in cropped 1:1 ratio.

Well after scaling down the pics to smaller sizes, pics from Xperia Z1 looked more pleasant though it doesn’t mean the it has a better or worse camera.

Xperia Z1 has been officially priced at €649 ( 649 Euro ) in Germany ( RRP ) and will be available for sale, later in September only in Black, White and Purple color.

No further info on the exact date on which Xperia Z1 will go for sale in Germany is available till now.

Considering the high price of Xperia Z1 in Germany, it is expected that at around £500+ we can expect it to launch in UK. No Xperia Z1 Price in India info is available. It is rumored that on September 18-19, Xperia Z1 will be officially launched in India.

Merely 4 hours are left for the Sony’s Press Conference at IFA 2013 Berlin event and the main event of unveiling the #bestofSony Sony Xperia Z1 aka Sony Xperia Honami. Yesterday we saw the official press release papers of Xperia Z21 being leaked, revealing all the specifications of Xperia Z1 very clearly.

Just now we saw an amazing video where some models in semi transparent red swimsuit were seen with Xperia Z1, playing with in a artificial pool.

Xperia Z1 aka Honami C69XX 14.1.G.1.518 firmware certified by PTCRB

On 15 August we saw PTCRB listing firmwares for Xperia Honami C69XX ( C6903/C6906 ) series as 14.1.G.1.493 firmware, it was the first time when we saw a firmware being listed for a phone before it is launched. Strange thing is that, PTCRB remove the listing just after 5 days of certifying it.

Just now we have spotted 4 Variants of C69XX i.e. Xperia Honami aka Xperia Z1 on PTCRB.

Xperia Z1 ( Honami ) C69XX 14.1.G.1.518 firmware certified by PTCRB

PTCRB has again listed this time 14.1.G.1.518 firmware for Xperia Z1 ( Honami ) which is seen for 4 versions of Xperia Z1 as C6943, C6906, C6903. and C6902 L39h Chinese version of Xperia Honami which earlier today appeared on TENAA as it’s network license passed.

Certified 14.1.G.1.518 firmware seems to be a lower build of earlier certified and removed 14.1.G.1.493 firmware by PTCRB. Well it seems everything has been cooked up for Xperia Honami aka Xperia Z1 and Sony is testing the final firmware build for it.

Well now as it has already been confirmed that on #4Sept the world will see the #bestofSony in form of Xperia Z1 ( Honami ), we can’t wait for it now 🙂

Xperia Honami is creating buzz everywhere now, from its 3 official teaser images being posted by Sony and it’s first official teaser video everything has been so exciting till now. Only a few days are left in it’s official launch.

Following various Xperia Honami aka Xperia Z1 leaks just now we spotted that Xperia Honami Chinese L39h model’s network license has been passed by Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center MIIT China, spotted at Tenaa.
