Xperia Z2 which has officially been announced by Sony at MWC 2014 has seen may leaks for its apps before the launch as well as after the launch. Recently we shared some of the Xperia Z2 System/Media/Apps and related odex files but now XDA dev DooMLoRD has posted the whole Xperia Z2 System Dump of 17.1.A.0.289 firmware Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is available for download.
Android 4.4.2 17.1.A.0.289 firmware of Xperia Z2 is an old firmware which was spotted on a prototype Sony D6503 Sirius handset as recently we saw 17.1.A.1.2 firmware getting certified for Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet and before that 17.1.A.0.504 firmware and 17.1.A.0.391 firmware was spotted on PTCRB but 17.1.A.0.289 firmware never made to PTCRC because it was unstable and has many bugs.
It seems the Xperia Z2 System Dump of 17.1.A.0.289 firmware is extracted from same prototype handset. Follow the below download links to download Xperia Z2 System Dump. Remember it’s not a ftf file so can’t be installed on any device.

We now expect to see more development from developers porting Xperia Z2 apps and features to other devices escpecially Xperia Z1. It would be amazing to see 4K cam recording feature of Xperia Z2 getting ported to Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact.
