We have already seen today Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet being unveiled by Sony at MWC 2014 and besides the two flagship devices Sony has also announced a mid range device Xperia M2, pretty much a successor of Xperia L. Xperia M2 features 4.8″ qHD Display, Snapdragon 400 SoC 1.2 GHz quad core processor ( MSM8926 / MSM8226 ) with Adreno 305 GPU. Xperia M2 weighs 148 grams and 8.6mm thick and has a build design pretty much similar to Xperia Z.
Xperia M2 packs 8 MP rear cam, HD video recording, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and external SD card support up to 32 GB. It is LTE enabled and has 2300 mAh battery. Sony smart camera apps which was seen on flagship models will be present on Xperia M2 too. It will be shipped with Android 4.3 out of the box.

By looking at specs of Xperia M2 it should be somewhat priced around at which Sony launched Xperia SP in market and Xperia M2 will hit the markets in April 2014.

sure it’s a successor to sp?, it has adreno 305 and sp has adreno 320 how can it be??
why don’t you see the other specs, You just compared one spec on which it lags behind XSP, Why not compare every other spec where it leads XSP…Sony has only 1 model like this and this is XSP..
It would be priced around 450$ hopefully. Sony always price more in starting.!
XSP is the first mid range device from Sony that has HD screen. So you will not get a HD screen in price of XM which is hardly 200$ LOL.
It should be priced equal to xperia M
