Xperia C3 Lollipop 19.3.A.0.470 firmware rolling – Android 5.0.2 update

A moment ago we posted that Android 5.0.2 Lollipop 19.3.A.0.470 firmware was spotted rolling on Xperia T2 Ultra, well now the same 19.3.A.0.470 firmware has hit Xperia C3 single SIM variant D2533 also (confirmed as Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update).

Xperia C3 19.3.A.0.470 firmware update is confirmed so far only in Taiwan. Update is still seeding, we will soon see it rolling globally hopefully. Nothing spotted on Dual SIM varinat yet.

Sony promised to roll Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update on Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra this week and as the week has started and a new 19.3.A.0.470 build certification coming along, it surely means the update is about to come. Dual SIM variants of both devices will be getting Lollipop update.

Sony has officially rolled Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update on Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra today in the form of 14.5.A.0.242 firmware whereas dual SIM variant of Xperia Z3 also got Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update in form of 23.1.1.E.0.1 firmware build.

Sony as officially confirmed that Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra will be getting Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update next week (both Dual SIM variants of both devices are included).

Xperia C3 19.3.A.0.468 Lollipop firmware certified

A few days back Sony mentioned that Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra will also be getting Android Lollipop update besides Xperia “Z” series. Earlier Sony has rolled Android Lollipop update on whole Xperia “Z2” and Xperia “Z3” series, which is now available globally for Xperia Z3 users and Xperia Z2 users will be getting it by next week.

Xperia C3 is right now on Android 4.4.2 version and a new 19.3.A.0.468 firmware has been certified on PTCRB, which seems that it is the new Android Lollipop firmware which Sony mentioned.

Sony confirms Xperia T2 Ultra & Xperia C3 Android Lollipop Update

Sony Mobile has officially confirmed today that Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra (T2 Ultra Dual) will be receiving Android Lollipop update very soon. Exact rollout date has not been mentioned yet, but it will come sooner or later finally.

Earlier Sony released Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update on Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series handsets in the form of 23.1.A.0.690 firmware which was seen in Nordics and Baltic region only but as per the today’s post by Sony Mobile, the rollout is now happening globally for Xperia Z3 series and will begin next week for Xperia Z2 series.

Xperia C3 running Android 5.0 Lollipop screenshots leaked

A few screenshots have emerged online which shows Xperia C3 running Android 5.0 Lollipop update just like we saw on Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia Z4 Tablet at MWC 2015. It could mean that Android 5.0 Lollipopp update is in making for Xperia C3 but yesterday Sony Xperia Twitter handler tweeted that no non-Xperia “Z” series handset will be getting Android Lollipop update.

By seeing at screenshots it looks that Xperia C3 may get Lollipop update only if they are authentic and Sony formally announces it. For the time being Sony has not disclosed its plan for Lollipop update on any Xperia handset except the “Z” series.

Xperia C3 19.2.A.0.383 firmware android 4.4 certified

Sony has already announced Xperia C3 a few days back and now the process of its launch in various regions has started. Xperia C3 is already available in Russia and today Sony launched it in India also at a price tag of Rs 23990 i.e. 397$. We noticed that some firmwares have been certified for Xperia C3 at PTCRB which clearly means that Sony is all set to launch Xperia C3 in various markets.

Xperia C3 has seen till now 3 firmwares certifications i.e. 19.2.A.0.344, 19.2.A.0.362 and 19.2.A.0.383. 19.2.A.0.383 firmware is the latest one to get certified, android 4.4 version as mentioned by Sony.

You can add decorative frames, make-up effects. Re-touching two people in the same pic function exists.

Xperia C3 Style Cover Stand SCR15 coming soon

Sony is planning to launch a Style Cover Stand SCR15 for Xperia C3 and Dual exclusively in Black and White color. Previously we have seen Style Covers for Xperia Z2, Z2 Tablet, T3 and T2 Ultra. It is a desk stand convertible cover with auto sleep mode as soon as flap of the cover is put on screen.

Style Cover Stand SCR15 weighs 68 grams and 158.8 x 82.1 x 12.65 mm in dimensions. Price is still unknown as it not yet available for purchase. As Sony has promised to launch Xperia C3 and C3 Dual in August 2014 so we can expect the cover to be put on sale at the same time.

Sony has released an infographic depicting the history of selfies with the launch of the world’s first selfie smartphone! Sony has announced the Xperia C3 and Xperia C3 Dual. Sony’s Xperia C3 will come with Google Android 4.4 (KITKAT), Snapdragon 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Quad-core processor,an 8  MP camera with auto focus, 2500 mAh battery, 5.5″ HD (1280×720), and a 5MP 720p wide-angle (25mm with 80 degree field of view) front camera lens (with Superior Auto mode) with a soft LED flash. Photos can be taken by double tapping the back cover or using Smile Shutter.

Xperia C3 Selfie phone video leaked – front cam in action with LED flash

Sony is about to launch their first Xperia phone with LED flash in front cam on 8 July tagging it as “Xperia Selfie Phone”, info came through a tweet made by Sony Mobile. Later today we saw Xperia C3 selfie phone real pictures getting leaked. Now we know a lot about Xperia C3 i.e. it features LED flash placed beside front cam, 2500 mAh battery, removable back cover and probably a 5″ screen display.

Just now Xperia C3 Selfie phone video has been leaked where you can see LED flash of front cam in action. Sony has tweaked software for front camera this time. You can see the guy in video tapping twice on back cover of phone to take a cam shot. Like Portrait Retouch camera app of Xperia T2 Ultra Dual there is also an image editing app (name not known yet) where the person in video changes the texture of his eyes.

Self portrait voice guide app will be available in Xperia C3 which will help you take self-pic using voice commands from rear cam. Xperia C3 seems a worthy upgrade over Xperia C. More details will be revealed tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Xperia C3 Selfie phone leaked photos with front LED flash, 2500 mAh battery

A moment ago Sony Mobile confirmed that they will be launching a Xperia Selfie phone on 8 July and here come the first leak about this selfie phone. Sony’s slefie phone will be commercially named as Xperia C3 Selfie phone which comes with bright front LED flash places beside front cam and features 2500 mAh battery. It seems it is the new successor of Xperia C.

It seems Xperia C3 Selfie phone will feature a 5″ screen display ( resolution not revealed so far ) and mid end range device specifications. Some pics in black and turquoise color have been leaked which represents that Xperia C3 will be launched in mult-colors and some colors will be specific to regions like Japan, China, Taiwan etc as noted by Weibo.
