Sony confirms Xperia T2 Ultra & Xperia C3 Android Lollipop Update

Sony Mobile has officially confirmed today that Xperia C3 and Xperia T2 Ultra (T2 Ultra Dual) will be receiving Android Lollipop update very soon. Exact rollout date has not been mentioned yet, but it will come sooner or later finally.

Earlier Sony released Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update on Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series handsets in the form of 23.1.A.0.690 firmware which was seen in Nordics and Baltic region only but as per the today’s post by Sony Mobile, the rollout is now happening globally for Xperia Z3 series and will begin next week for Xperia Z2 series.

Recently Android Lollipop update for Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 was certified by Bluetooth SIG. Exact firmware build details are not available for the time being.
