Sony Mobile has officially unveiled its first Xperia “X” series smartphones today at MWC 2016 viz. Xperia X, Xperia X Performance, and Xperia XA. Sony has redefined design, camera, and battery in their new series of smartphones.

Sony’s all-new Predictive Hybrid Autofocus in Xperia X and Xperia X Performance matches with what is available in Sony’s α cameras. Each of Xperia “X” series smartphone features curved glass display.

Sony launches Xperia X, Xperia X Performance, Xperia XA

Not only Sony’s new “X” series smartphone comes with two day battery life, Sony has also incorporated Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology which will increase the life span of battery.

Qnovo claims that now new Xperia “X” series smartphones will increase the battery lifespan upto 800 charge cycles before they start to loose capacity (Forbes). Xperia X Series Smartphones

Sony Xperia X

Sony Xperia X features Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor (64-bit) powered by 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage along with micro-SD card capability upto 200 GB.

It will have both dual and single SIM variant (both nano SIM). Dual SIM variant will feature 64 GB flash memory. Xperia X PicturesIt weighs 153 grams, 69.4 x 142.7 x 7.9mm in dimension. It features 5″ 1080p display (TRILUMINOS Display for Mobile, Dynamic Contrast Enhancement) with X-Reality for mobile. It will be available in white, graphite black, lime gold and rose gold color.

Sony Xperia X comes with 23 MP rear camera (1/2.3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, Predictive Hybrid AF, 24mm Wide Angle G Lens F2.0) and 13MP front camera (1/3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, 22mm Wide Angle Lens F2.0). It comes with 2620 mAh battery and LTE connectivity.

Sony Xperia XA

Sony Xperia XA features MediaTek MT6755 processor (64-bit Octa core) powered by 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage along with micro-SD card capability upto 200 GB.

It will have both dual and single SIM variant (both nano SIM). Xperia XA PicturesIt weighs 137.4 grams, 143.6 x 66.8 x 7.9mm in dimension. It features 5″ 720p display (Mobile BRAVIA engine 2) with Super Vivid mode. It will be available in white, graphite black, lime gold and rose gold color.

Sony Xperia XA comes with 1/3” 13 MP rear Exmor RS for mobile sensor (Hybrid AF) and 8 MP front camera Sony Exmor R for mobile sensor (Auto-Focus, Wide angle lens [88 degree]). It comes with 2300 mAh battery and LTE connectivity.

Sony Xperia X Performance

Sony Xperia X Performance features Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor (64-bit) powered by 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage along with micro-SD card capability upto 200 GB.

It will have both dual and single SIM variant (both nano SIM). Xperia X Performance Pictures It weighs 5.8 oz., 2.8 x 5.7 x 0.3 in. in dimension. It features 5″ 1080p display (TRILUMINOS Display for Mobile, Dynamic Contrast Enhancement) with X-Reality for mobile. It will be available in white, graphite black, lime gold and rose gold color.

Sony Xperia X comes with 23 MP rear camera (1/2.3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, Predictive Hybrid AF, 24mm Wide Angle G Lens F2.0, Quick launch < 0.03 sec.) and 13MP front camera (1/3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, 22mm Wide Angle Lens F2.0, Quick launch < 0.03 sec.). It comes with 2700 mAh battery and LTE connectivity.

    The new Sony X series looks quite interesting which os fully loaded with advanced features. I would like to have Xperia X Performance mobile. But I don’t know the price of these phones. Can anyone tell??
