Sony rolled android 4.4.2 KitKat 14.3.A.0.681 firmware update a dew days back on Xperia Z1, Z Ultra and Z1 Compact and users have been reporting some serious bugs the then like sound coming from hearing speaker instead from external speaker, heating issues, battery drain. Sony has rolled a new 14.3.A.0.757 firmware update to fix all acknowledged bugs by them.

14.3.A.0.757 firmware is a bug fixing update over 14.3.A.0.681 firmware which keeps Z Ultra  on android 4.4.2 only. 14.3.A.0.757 firmware is confirmed on Xperia Z Ultra C6833 in regions  United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Singapore, Russia, Spain.. 14.3.A.0.757 firmware is available over PC Companion and SUS, no OTA seen yet.

Connect your Xperia Z Ultra to PC Companion and look for a notification as shown below, proceed as per on screen instructions.

    Wallpaper bug still there where it flickers black after unlocking the screen!!! Grrr. And battery drain is normal due to fresh install

    The speaker bug isn’t big thing for me, the only problem is multitasking, so slowly, sometimes when i switch between apps it gets bugy. I noticed in the new update that they changed the 3G icon and Google Now ring is alot better.
