How to teardown Xperia Z5 and replace back cover & camera lens – VIDEO

Sony used dual heat pipes on Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium to overcome the heating issues in the handset (mostly due to processor). Sony has put 23 MP rear cam in Xperia Z5 this time (upgrading from 21 MP rear cam which was used in earlier flagships).

Today we are posting a video in which you will see how to teardown Xperia Z5 and replace back cover & camera lens in case your back cover has cracked.

Remember that opening your Xperia handset at home will void that warranty, so perform at your own risk, if your handset is in warranty take it to the official Sony service center.

Sony used a single heat pipe in Xperia Z3 series handsets (which featured Snapdragon 801 Soc).
