Xperia M2 Dual D2302 getting 18.3.1.B.1.8 firmware update globally now – Android 4.4.4 KitKat

Xperia M2 Dual D2302 is getting a new 18.3.1.B.1.8 firmware update globally now, which was released earlier to selective regions only. This Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is confirmed in regions like Algeria, India etc.

No major visible changes noticed except new Xperia Notes app was seen in some regions. Users are confirming better performance and battery life. 18.3.1.B.1.8 firmware is available via PC Companion only and you need a computer to update it, no OTA seen yet.

If you haven’t got the 18.3.1.B.1.8 firmware update yet, download the 18.3.1.B.1.8 firmware ftf from below and flash it using flashtool.

  suuport for xperia c has been stopped by sony last year. It will not get any more updates in future now.

  It is not available yet. SONY has not rolled lollipop udpate to any Xperia yet.

  No major bugs seen yet. This doesn’t mean there are no bugs, as this is a minor update you can ignore updating it.

Hello my xperia m2dual is facing trouble with memory card. Says its damaged. But when I restart my device it detects the card. But later on after few hours It again goes undetected saying memory card is damaged.. Pls help..

I have updated my m2dual D2302 to.lolipop 5.1.1 and i have camer issue with this.
