Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact rumors are in the air and now an official confirmation on the existence of Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact ( probably Sony SGP621 which was spotted on Indonesian Postel a few days back ) have been spotted in the official support documents of Sony Bluetooth Speaker ( BSC10A ).

Documents reads that Sony Bluetooth Speaker BSC10A is compatible with Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and the support document was revised today. It clearly indicates that Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is on its way along with its siblings Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Smartphone and may see the launch at IFA 2014, 3 Sept 2014 event at Berlin.

A new 14.4.A.0.133 firmware has started rolling on Xperia Z1 carrier handsets in European regions on Vodafone carrier. Xperia M2 18.3.C.0.37 firmware Android 4.4.2 KitKat rolling

Sony has started rolling officially android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Xperia M2 single SIM variants i.e D2303 LTE and D2305 HSPA+ in form of 18.3.C.0.37 and 18.3.A.0.31 firmware respectively. Xperia M2 KitKat update is still in seeding stage but confirmed in regions like Russia, Singapore, Thailand, France.

Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is only spotted for Xperia M2 D2303 LTE variant in form of 18.3.C.0.37 firmware while on HSPA+ version D2305 it still has not been spotted. Update is available over PC Companion only for the time being.

Sony D2203 specifications leaked on GFXBench benchmark – 6.1″ FWVGA display, Snapdragon 400

Sony D2203 has been benchmarked at GFXBench, displaying all its specifications and similarly related Sony D2202 and Sony D2212 have already been appeared on Indonesian Postel certifications. After seeing the leaked specifications it seems Sony is planning to launch a 6.1″ FWVGA display device.

Sony D2203 specifications reads as Android 4.4.2 OS, 854 x 480 6.1″ touchscreen with at least 5 finger gesture support, Snapdragon 400 ( Cortex A7 @ 1190 MHz ) Quad Core, Adreno 305 GPU, 4 GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM, 5 MP rear cam and VGA front cam.

A day back Sony updated Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual on android 4.4.2 20.1.A.0.47 firmware and 20.1.B.0.64 firmware respectively where we saw new Xperia Home 6.3.A.0.7 app along with new Walkman 8.4.A.1.5 app. Sony has updated other media apps also.

Xperia Home 6.3.A.0.7 app brings minor changes only though more stable and responsive than previous version. App trash icon has changed to X now.

Sony What’s New 1.2.A.0.2 app update rolling

Sony What’s New app has been updated to newer version 1.2.A.0.2 via OTA received on Xperia Z2. What’s New 1.2.A.0.2 app brings new UI, price and platform info added to PlayStation content. At present update is only available to Xperia Z2 users, we didn’t get the update on Xperia Z1.

What’s New 1.2.A.0.2 app update is 3 MB in size, check you update center app for app update notification. App is more smooth now as compared to earlier version 1.1.A.0.2.

Alleged Xperia Z3 Compact hands on pics leaked

A new set of alleged Xperia Z3 Compact hands on pics have been leaked which clearly shows what Sony has planned for Xperia Z3 Compact. A day back we saw CAD drawings of Xperia Z3 Compact dimensions getting leaked showing it will be 64.9 mm in length. Xperia Z3 Compact is believed to feature 4.6″ 1080p FHD display i.e. whooping 478 ppi, Snapdragon 801 processor chipset, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB Memory, 20.7 MP rear cam with Sony “G” Lens.

What we saw in latest alleged Xperia Z3 Compact hands on pics that Sony has planned a similar 20.7 MP rear cam with LED flash in center rather than below the cam. 3.5 mm headphone jack, magnetic connecting charger port and USB port is housed inside SD card slot.
