Xperia Z4 Launched in Japan – 6.9mm thin with 64-bit Octa core processor Snapdragon 810

Sony has officially launched the successor of Xperia Z3 i.e. Xperia Z4 in Japan today exclusively in white, black, copper and aqua green color. Xperia Z4 weighs 144 grams and is 6.9mm thin with 5.2″ FHD Display (1920 x 1080 resolution, no 2K) packed in an aluminum frame with glass back.

Xperia Z4 features Snapdragon 810 64 bit Octa core processor (2 GHz) with 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage (with micro SD card support). It features 20.7 MP camera 25mm wide-angle, 1 / 2.3 inch size sensor (ISO 12800). It features 5.1 MP front camera (25mm wide-angle).

Xperia Z4 Launched in Japan

Unexpectedly Xperia Z4 features 2930 mAh battery (which is less as compared to Xperia Z3 & Xperia Z2). Xperia Z4 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box (5.0.2). [ UPDATE ] As per the news floating in now, it seems Xperia Z4 is launched for the Japanese market for the time being and might be only available in Japan. In the late May, Sony is expected to launch the flagship device globally.

Sony SCR30 Style window cover has also been introduced for Xperia Z4 along with a desktop holder.

Now it seems all leaks linking to Xperia Z3 Neo were of Xperia Z4 actually, yes because Sony E6553 is Xperia Z4’s model number. Xperia Z4 looks no wonder phone over Xperia Z3.

Xperia Z4 Specifications leaked : Rumor or Real ?

It has not been a while since Sony launched Xperia Z3 in market and now rumors for Xperia Z4 have started popping up. It is being rumored ( believed ) that Sony is preparing for its next flagship device Xperia Z4 ( no Xperia Z3X ) which will be launched in March 2015 and Sony probably be ditching its two flagships in a year strategy.

Xperia Z4 Specifications which have been leaked online seems much like a concept device build by someone but the source who first posted the info says it comes from their reliable poster. Well we doubt the leaked Xperia Z4 Specifications so take them with a pinch of salt for the time being, their authentication is  no one’s responsibility.

It seems much like an awesome device if came into existence anyhow. 32 GB internal storage would be great which Sony has been preferring only in the variants launched in Japan & China.

Curved Exmor RS CMOS imaging sensor in a smartphone from Sony seems very good improvement thought it has already been seen in Sony’s DSC-KW1 19.2 MP Selfie Camera.

The specifications leaked associated with Xperia Z4 seems that it would be the true Xperia smartphone so far in “Z” series.
