Sony has already rolled Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series in limited regions and while other regions are waiting for it, 23.1.A.0.690 firmware is now certified for all variants of Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series so it will come soon now.
Android 5.0.2 Lollipop 14.5.A.0.242 firmware has been officially certified for Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact & Xperia Z Ultra now. Sony will update its whole Xperia “Z” series on Android Lollipop version very soon.

rolling out is not a news once it reaches to end user is news. Time taken by sony certify and rolling out takes months. by that time people would moved out of sony’s brand.
