Just updated to the new version for E2105. I would say that my experience with the new version is neutral. No mentionable changes except for some glamour to the screen. No noticeable system upgrades and enhancements.
Besides, I’m unable to update my apps in Google Play – guess its a software glitch due to this latest update.

Hi. Have just installed this update on my Mum’s phone. But the update automatically deleted the Facebook app & when we try to reinstall the FB app from Google Play, the phone responds with message of “incompatible application”.

Is anyone else having this issue ?

    HELP !

I’m having the same issue. After I updated my Xperia E1 to Android 4.4.2, my facebook application was deleted and I am not able to install it now. I tried a couple of times and got the same error in every attempt: “incompatible application”

I’m using web-based FB for now but I want to switch back to the FB app.

    Please help.

I have the same problem with my sony xperia update. Facebook now gone and unable to reinstall. How does a company release firmware upgrades without testing it properly? Very passed off!

Facebook cannot install, lots of bugs after upgrading Xperia E1 4.3 – 4.4, have you ever tried to Reset the factory setting of your E1?, resetting you phone’s factory after an upgrade is the best way to clean the bugs.

Method for fixing bugs and facebook problem for Xperia E1:
Backup you phones’ s Data, Files and Application via Built in Back up & restore application>

go to settings>Backup & reset> (click) Factor data reset> (check) Erase Internal (optional)>

    and Click [Reset phone]

wait… a moment and your phone will restart,

after the phone starts again.. you will see the Facebook application, fresh and Clean E1 without any bugs. try it..
