15.3.A.1.14 firmware which was certified for Xperia L C2105 version only last week over PTCRB is now officially rolling as confirmed from Sony Mobile Twitter support. Unexpectedly Xperia L was updated on android 4.2.2 version and till then Xperia L users are complaining regarding poor camera quality, severe battery drain and poor touch screen response.
15.3.A.1.14 firmware is android 4.2.2 version only and confirmed for Xperia L C2105 and C2104 over both PC Companion as well as an OTA update. It is confirmed in regions like Germany, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, India, Philippines, Russia, Pakistan, Canada. As per Sony 15.3.A.1.14 firmware brings performance tweaks, camera improvement, homescreen UI refresh and other changes are under the hood.

To update your Xperia L on 15.3.A.1.14 firmware, connect it to PC Companion and look for a notification as shown below and proceed as per on screen instructions.

Proximity sensor bug fixed and camera quality is slightly improved (there is less noise in the photos compared to the ones in .12fw)

i have not updated the last release 15.3.A.0.26 and still having 15.0.A.2.17 and now the new update 15.3.A.1.14 is coming , could you please suggest whether i have to update the first 0.26 and then 1.14 update? or i can directly update the latest 1.14?
Alike Abbas, I m still on 15.0.A.2.17. My xperia L user friends said that 15.3.A.0.26 is another buggy update, it solve some problem but make another problem also :(. I doubt to update my Xperia. What’s your suggestion, mr Anurag?
My Xperia L (C2105) is already get the last update from OTA. So this thing that I want to share. When I applying the theme from main screen, is ok. You can see from setting>display>theme is applying theme that you choose. But if you applying theme from setting, if you hold screen then you choose themes, it will show the previous theme. Try it. Please fix it team…
In my sony xperial l gujrati font is not supported so please give update for that..

Updated through OTA. Sometimes all the sounds come from earpiece rather than loud speaker.
ya i too faced the same problem. my friend too reported the same but once we restart the mobile its getting resolved. i faced this problem when the firmware is in 3.A.0.26 and also in 0.A.2.17
Ya sensor bug is not fixed yet.

This update is make my XL is hang up when make a call or receive any call. So I have to do lock screen and then swipe to make it normal again. Please fix it, it is disturbing my activity, damn…
