Sony Mobile recently unveiled Xperia XA Ultra with Optical Image Stabilisation in the 16 MP front camera with selfie flash. Sony puts OIS for the first time in their Xperia smartphones.

Sony Mobile has been using SteadyShot technology in their handsets to provide a digital stabilisation while taking videos and pics.

Xperia X SteadyShot Comparison video

Both Sony Xperia X and Xperia X Performance features Xperia SteadyShot Technology in the camera to stabilise the shaking while taking pics or shooting videos.

Sony Mobile posted a comparison video today while riding a bike (in once scene SteadyShot off and in another scene on).

Check out the comparison yourself in above video, with SteadyShot on, there is very less shaking while bike takes a turn.

A moment back Sony opened pre-registration for Xperia X and Xperia XA in India. Once Xperia X and Xperia X Performance are available in the markets, we will post more details about their camera capabilities.
