Sony Video & TV SideView: Remote app has been updated to newer 4.2.0 version over the older 4.1.0 version. Display speed of “Top picks” has been increased in the new update along with improved quality of operation.

Earlier the name of app was TV SideView but it was changed in Feb. 2016, those who don’t know it is TV Remote Control and Guide app from Sony for better TV viewing. This app is compatible with Xperia devices, Samsung Galaxy Devices, Google Nexus devices and other Android devices however Nexus 9 is not supported for the time being.

App works when the concerned mobile device and the home device is connected to same wireless network.
