Sony has just rolled Album App 5.4.A.0.20 update following the previous Album App 5.4.A.0.12 version rolled in early Feb. Album App 5.4.A.0.20 update spotted as OTA update on Xperia Z family members and Xperia L, Xperia SP also following the same changelog as like its previous version.
Album App 5.4.A.0.20 update says Android 4.4 KitKat support again in changelog, which may indicate that Sony is updating its media apps before they roll out the official android 4.4 KitKat firmware update on their handsets. If you look closely in the screenshots you will see white icons in the status bar which is a native KitKat feature.

My Xperia c shows a notification for this update of album app.
it has bug with my XPERIA TX ON android 4.3.after updating from update center it said unfortunately album app has stopped.
Second update for Album to KitKat support and yet no update for our devices...
Update available for xperia L also
The update is "not possible" for my Xperia L (Android 4.2.2) does someone have the same problem? Why is it shown, but I'm not able to update?? Doesn't make any sense XD -.-
I have received this as An OTA update on my xperia C. Does this mean xperia C will be getting further android updates?
Also Xperia V has an update for Album
I dont know why you guys are so pessimist about receiving future updates in Xperia C. Ofcourse it will get lots of updates in future. It came relatively late as a mid range hence updates will start rolling first to flagships then in the order of first released first updates fashion.. so expect updates for C little delayed but for sure.
xperia L ..update shows but when i try to download it it shows could not download !!

By the way don't update, it just adds a new feature of sync'ing ur phone's photos to Playstation Memories Online,
It doesn't display photos correctly while zooming in,
When I zoomed in, it was showing some minute blurred pixles, but I'm sure that those who like watching pics closely by zooming in won't like this update.
