Sony AR Effect camera app has been updated to new version 3.0.27 which brings cool 6 new effects themes which can now be downloaded from Play Store. Sony AR Effect camera app allows you to customize your picture with pre-installed themes and effects. New 6 effects include Spider-man, Horror, Comic, Celebration, Funky Disco and Butterfly out of which Funky Disco and Butterfly were already there in previous versions.
Sony added the functionality of using AR Effect app in video mode also on android 4.4.2 KitKat update on Xperia Z1, Z Ultra, Z1 Compact and now android 4.3 users can also have the benefit of same settings. Sony AR Effect 3.0.27 camera app syncs well with Sony FACE RECOGNITION Technology & SmartAR* Engine detects faces in camera view and decorates them with featured effects.

I have the xz2 the white and black version i downloaded that apk ar efect and my kid like it very much hi cant stop to look at that specially spiderman hi liks i guess this apk is only for kids is funny for them but for adults is only gimmick anyway its fun to have it for kids other then that i have to say the xperia z2 is the best allrounder on the market i have the nordic version of xz2 there is a intresting article on xperia blog net a camera comparishing nokia luma 1020 vs xz2 so you can have a look at that
in my ZR did not work, says that Ar effect need to be updated , but in google play is not any update available....
