Sony added the functionality of using AR Effect app in video mode also on android 4.4.2 KitKat update on Xperia Z1, Z Ultra, Z1 Compact and now android 4.3 users can also have the benefit of same settings. Sony AR Effect 3.0.27 camera app syncs well with Sony FACE RECOGNITION Technology & SmartAR* Engine detects faces in camera view and decorates them with featured effects.
