Sony has officially rolled out a task, to-do list, reminder app of its own and Xperia Z1 users are getting this Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 as OTA update on their phone. Just now we got this Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 update notification on our Xperia Z1 C6902 in India via update center app on Xperia Z1.
Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 is an app similar to other to-do list apps found in Google Play store but this one comes directly from Sony this time. Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 till now seen rolling on Xperia Z1 only.

Check for update notification of Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 in update center app on your phone. If you have got the update, download it now.
[ Update ] It also rolled on Xperia Z Ultra as mentioned by some users.

Like any other android task app, you can create a list of reminders on this Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 . Simply tap on new task option, enter details and your reminder is set up.
Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 apk file not working on Xperia SP android 4.1.2, download from above link and try installing it on your device. It seems Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 is working only on android 4.2.2 for now i.e on Xperia Z, ZL, ZR, Z Ultra. ( Though not tested yet. )

Would be a good app if it had repeating task function but you only seem able to set the task to run once or have I missed something. therefore will stick with ToDo Task Manager.
This app is not getting installed in Xperia L

Sideloaded on Xperia SP Android 4.3; it works but settings->sync accounts does nothing
I'm reporting that this app works like a charm (fully functional) on the xperia z1 compact updated to Android Kitkat 4.4.4
It is however not found officially on the Sony Update Centre. You have to install the app provided by this article.
