Sony Mobile has launched its second flagship device Xperia Z3 for 2014, following the legacy of Xperia Z2. Compact siblings of Xperia Z3 i.e. Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact also marked their appearance along with Xperia E3 / Dual, Sony SmartWatch 3 SWR50, Sony SmartBand Talk SWR30.

For the first time Sony has launched their flagship device from Xperia “Z” series as a Dual SIM variant for selective countries and nano SIM enability. Sony has dumped the purple color for its H2 Xperia handsets this time and introduced two new colors Copper and Green which will we available globally.

Sony Xperia Z3

Xperia Z3 features 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3 GB RAM, internal storage 16 GB packed in 7.3 mm slim aluminium frame. Sony decided to keep the same screen resolution on Xperia Z3 like Xperia Z2 as 5.2″ FHD with Triluminos Mobile display, featuring Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Xperia Z3 features same 20.7 MP rear cam with Sony Social Camera app but this time Sony introduced world’s first 12800 ISO sensitivity in a smartphone. It features a healthy 3100 mAh battery, IP65/68 certifications. Sony has improved the power management system on Xperia Z3, claiming it to last for 2 days on a single charge.

Xperia Z3 Pricing and Availability 

Xperia Z3 Price is still unknown while it is expected to hit markets in late October this year. Sony is asking users to pre-register for getting Xperia Z3.
