Flipkart lists Xperia Z3 for Rs 49990, Z3 Compact for Rs 42990 in India

Sony India has officially launched Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact in India at a hefty price tag of Rs 51990 ($850) and Rs 44990 ($735) respectively. Xperia Z3 is launched in white, black and copper color while Xperia Z3 Compact is available in red, black, white and green color. Both phones are available for purchase from official Sony Xperia stores whereas online retailer Flipkart has listed it in India for pre-order.

Flipkart will start shipping Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact in India from 30th Spetember, so for the time being Xperia Z3 is available at a special discounted price tag of Rs 49990 and Xperia Z3 Compact at Rs 42990.

Xperia Z3 India launch on 19 September – LTE version coming

Sony launched Xperia E3 and Xperia E3 Dual in India today for Rs 11990 / $197 and Rs 12990 / $214 respectively and next week flagship Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact is coming to India precisely on 19 September when the unveiling will be done in New Delhi and from 20 September it will be put on sale.

Exact pricing details of Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact are unknown for the time being but Xperia Z3 is believed to be priced above Rs 42000 – Rs 43000 range and there will be around Rs 5000 price difference between Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact launched with 4.6″ HD display

Sony launched today Xperia Z3 Compact which takes over the legacy of Xperia Z1 Compact which are siblings of Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z1 respectively.  Xperia Z3 Compact is simply a compact version of Xperia Z3 in a small 4.6″ display with almost similar specifications.

Xperia Z3 Compact features Snapdragon 801 2.5 GHz quad core processor, 2 GB RAM ( Xperia Z3 has 3 GB RAM ), Adreno 330 GPU. It features 4.6″ 720p display with Triluminos Mobile, 16 GB internal storage with 128 GB external microSD card also support, 20.7 MP rear cam and IP65/68 certifications.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact has 4.6″ screen, S801 processor, 128 GB microSD support while Xperia Z1 Compact has 4.3″ screen, S800 processor, 64 GB microSD support (there is also a difference in IP ratings of both device ). Sony has provided the finest available water resistance and dust resistance IP certifications available on Xperia Z3 Compact.

Xperia Z3 Compact Price is still unknown while it is expected to hit markets in late October this year. Sony is asking users to pre-register for getting Xperia Z3 Compact.

If any Xperia device in the H2 2014 has to be given the status of flagship device well it is Xperia Z3 Compact if you ask us, it is the real flagship compact model for us.
