A new 9.0.1.A.3.1 version update has hit Sony Xperia Music app within 24 hours of releasing 9.0.1.A.3.0 beta update. Xperia Music app 9.0.1.A.3.1 beta update brings a fix for quick play button which was not showing for many users earlier.

Different color picking in the full layer in landscape and portrait mode is fixed now, transition glitch is changed when backing out of the full player.

Sony Xperia Music 9.0.0.A.1.2beta app update rolling

Earlier today Sony updated Walkman app to newer 8.5.A.3.3 version and now Sony has officially rolled Xperia Music 9.0.0.A.1.2beta app. Recently Sony pulled Xperia Music app from Play Store but now Xperia Music 9.0.0.A.1.2 Beta version is available for download.

Xperia Music 9.0.0.A.1.2 beta app is a major update over Walkman app as it changes the name of app itself along with other changes like faster boot/run time, settings moved to drawer, Mediaserver moved to settings, app size reduced, app color switch, previous button on lockscreen, more space in “My Library”.

Notice the new Xperia Music app icon in the status bar. Update is not available at Play Store for the time being, apk available for download below.

Sony puts Xperia Music 5.0.A.0.10 App on Play Store replacing Walkman

Sony has now branded its Walkman app to Xperia Music and it has been officially put on Play Store. Earlier Sony put Album app on Play Store which clearly means that sooner or later we will see Sony Movies app on Play store also.

On Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update Sony rebranded Walkman app to Xperia Music and now it is available for download to all Xperia users running Android 4.0+ from Play Store itself, which means no more updates via Update Center app.
