Sony Xperia E5 Launched Officially with 1.5 GB RAM

Sony Mobile officially announced Sony Xperia E5 today and this time it is for real. A few days back we saw Sony accidentally revealing it on their social media accounts. This is the second handset which Sony announced in last 2 weeks (after Xperia XA Ultra).

Sony Xperia E5 is a mid ranger with 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MTK6735 (64-bit) processor backed by 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage running on 2700mAh battery. It features 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera, Android Marshmallow out of the box. It will be available in both single SIM and Dual SIM variants in White and June 2016.

Xperia E5 weighs 147 grams and is 7.9 mm thick. Sony has changed its signature power button in Xperia E5, where a cylindrical button is there instead of round one.

Xperia E5 Officially confirmed by Sony, accidentally revealed

Yesterday we posted news regarding existence of Sony F3311 as Xperia E5 and today it has officially been accidentally revealed on Sony’s official Twitter and Facebook account.

A post from Sony Mobile, confirms that Xperia E5 is officially coming very soon, announcement is near it seems, as the renders are from press pictures.

Sony Mobile mentioned on Facebook, “Eager, effortless, and easy on the eye – it’s everything a smartphone should be. Say hello to your savvy new sidekick, Xperia E5.”

NOTE: Sony has changed its signature power button style on Xperia E5 and a rectangular power button is featured on Xperia E5.

As per the specifications from GFX Benchmark, Xperia E5 is expected to feature:

  • 720p HD 4.6″ screen (looks like a compact version of bigger series)

  • ARM Mali-T720 GPU

  • 5 MP Front Cam
