Sony Social Live app has been updated to newer 1.0.26 version from older 1.0.25 version bringing in more translation fixes and usual performance enhancement. Sony Social Live app is third party app for Sony Social Smart Camera app which allows you to broadcast your videos live on Facebook.

Social Live 1.0.26 app update is available over Play Store only and compatible with Sony Social Smart Camera app available on android 4.3+ running Xperia devices.

Two new Sony AR Effect camera app themes viz. Kittens and San Francisco have been launched on Play Store from third party developers who earlier launched Orcs & Poisonous Creature AR Effect themes respectively. AR Effect app allows you to customize your captured pics and videos with installed themed characters. It needs android 4.3+ to work on your device.

Both themes are paid, Kitten theme costing $2.98 / Rs 184.75 and San Francisco theme costing $2.98 / Rs 184.78. Open AR Effect camera app in your device, tap on + icon to download new themes, you will see the both themes listed there.

Just now we saw AR fun and Sticker Creator app from Sony hitting Play Store and now a new theme for Sony AR Effect Camera app “Ninja” has been released on Play Store. To install Sony Ninja theme you must have Sony Social Smart Camera app and AR Effect app v3.1.1 or higher installed on your device.

Sony Ninja theme helps you put on special character like swordsmanship, skill with caltrops and water techniques. You can drag the position of animations and tap on them to change their action.

Sony Sticker Creator 1.0.4 app launched on Play Store – Create your personalized stickers!

Sony AR fun app was made available on Play Store today and now another app Sticker Creator 1.0.4 is available on Play Store which allows you to create your own customized stickers from the camera view finder. You can either import already created stickers or create your own stickers and decorate your captured pics.

You need Sony Social Smart Camera app and android 4.2+ to install Sticker Creator app on your device. To create stickers, enclose the area you want to create as sticker, clip it, add border effects to clipped sticker and save it.

Sony Social Smart Camera add on AR Fun app which was first spotted on Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact is now available on Play Store. AR Fun app let you customize your pics and videos in a funny way. It allows you to virtually put different 3D objects on the pictures captured.

Sony explains “Sony’s FACE RECOGNITION Technology and SmartAR* Engine automatically detect faces and 3D environments and decorate them with fun AR items“. You need Sony Social Smart Camera app and android 4.2+ running on your device to install the app.
