Sony has announced a new budget smartphone Xperia L1. It features 5.5″ 720p HD display with loop surface design, narrow borders and a smooth rounded frame. Earlier this year Sony has already announced Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra.

Sony Xperia L1 is powered by MediaTek MT6737T chipset (Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor), Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. It will feature Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It has 16GB eMMC internal memory, microSDXC support (up to 256GB) and 2GB RAM. It will be launched in Single and Dual SIM variants.

Sony Xperia L1 features 13 MP rear camera with F2.2 lens, Autofocus, ISO 3200, , 3x Clear Image Zoom and a 5 MP front camera 24mm wide-angle lens F2.2. It weighs 180g and has dimensions of 151 x 74 x 8.7 mm.

Sony has put 2620mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Stamina Mode. It has USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.2.

Xperia L1 is compatible with Sony Charging Dock DK60. It will be available in Black, White and Pink color. Sony Xperia L1 price is unknown yet, hopefully it will be priced right in budget segment by Sony.
