Covering our post series on various Nexus 5 defects, we found that many LG Nexus 5 users are now complaining regarding the fragile Nexus 5 screen display. One user got his Nexus 5 screen cracked after it fell on the floor though it was his fault but still Nexus 5 screen got cracked with an impact from such a small height. Another Nexus 5 user got in touch with us and sent some of the pics of his defected Nexus 5 screen display. In his case, he quotes “screen impact causing a hairline crack within the LCD which eventually causes fluid to bleed out leaving a dark spot on the screen. It looks like water damage but with no pathway from a speaker or button. It’s simply a dark splotch in the middle of the phone“.

It seems a dark patch on Nexus 5 screen.

Nexus 5 Screen showing dark spot is about 1 cm x.5 cm on the top third of Nexus 5 screen. It looks like water damage but there is no pathway or trail from any port/button/speaker.

Issue is that does this type of defect in Nexus 5 screen will be taken under warranty by the LG ? Well it seems no to us, as another user told us that they refused to take cracked screen issues under warranty cover.

Google Nexus 5 Screen Cracked after falling on hard surface

Nexus 5 the latest flagship device from Google, well no doubt it is undoubtedly the best device running stock android ROM till now but many users are complaining now their Nexus 5 screen has cracked after falling from a low height on a hard surface. Nexus 5 features 4.95″ screen Corning Gorilla Glass 3 but is it tough enough to resist daily falls and avoid cracks.

Well a user claims his Google Nexus 5 fell from his coat pocket on a hard surface and his Nexus 5 screen cracked from top side. On side bumpers not much cracks or marks were spotted but on screen it has got a lot cracks. Check below images.

Well Nexus 5 Screen Cracked after falling on a “hard surface”, concerned accepts that but does that much damage on screen should have been happened, that’s an question here.

Check the cracks on top corner of screen.
