Walkman 8.5.A.0.6 app update is rolling via OTA over previous build 8.4.A.5.4. Walkman 8.5.A.0.6 app brings support for android wear devices and now you can control music playback on your Xperia device via your android wear device ( ex. SmartWatch 3, Moto 360, LG G3 etc ).
You can now download your saved playlist on android wear device. Walkman 8.5.A.0.6 app update is confirmed rolling on Xperia Z series handsets. Check update center app for update notification. Earlier today Sony Weather 2.1.A.0.10 app update also rolled.

Only seems to support mp3 files that are put on the phone. Can’t choose a song from Sony Music Unlimited in walkman and put it in the “Music on wearable” playlist. So the use is very limited in my opinion.
