Xperia Z2, Z2 Tablet 23.0.1.A.3.9 firmware certified – Android 4.4.4 Update

Another 23.0.1.A.3.9 firmware has been certified for Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet which will bring android 4.4.4 update for the said devices. Previously we saw 23.0.1.A.0.167 firmware getting certified and 23.0.1.A.0.32 firmware getting leaked which showed that Xperia Z2 will have UI like Xperia Z3 on android 4.4.4 ( though anything can changes on final release of update ).

Sony has already updated Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra to android 4.4.4, Xperia T2 Ultra Dual to android 4.4.3 while Xperia Z2 series is still waiting for android 4.4.4 KitKat update.

Below you can see 23.0.1.A.3.9 firmware certification for Xperia Z2 D6503 on PTCRB, nothing spotted for Xperia Z2 D6502 yet.

Below you can see 23.0.1.A.3.9 firmware certification for Xperia Z2 Tablet SGP521 on PTCRB, nothing spotted for SGP541, SGP561 yet.

Recently Google added both these devices for Chromecast screen cast and will support Sony PS4 Remote Play feature on android 4.4.4 update.
