Sony has updated its Movies app to newer version 8.0.A.0.4 which brings support for Movies Small app for a few Xperia devices. In the Movies app, tap the “Movies Small App” icon in the player bar, to play videos in minimum size ex. when checking your social networks or browsing the web. To use this function download and install the “Movies Small App“. ( Not available officially though from Sony yet, you can download another app for the time being ).

Movies 8.0.A.0.4 update is confirmed rolling for Xperia “Z” series handsets, OTA via update center app. Movies 8.0.A.0.4 update is of 12.5 MB in size. We got it on our Xperia Z2. Sony has also updated its Album app to newer version 6.5.A.0.10.

    thankz for the info
    then again, I was wondering what theme is that?
    I realised that rooted themes messes up my SystemUi
    especially when I tap on the multi tasker icon

    I don’t know how I can use the new función “small app móviles”. I hace TVE Xperia z1 with KitKat 4.4.4, and I update TVE app Móvies to the last versión 8.0.A.0.4. Please show a vídeo about this.
