Sony recently rolled android 4.4.4 firmware update on Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Tablet Z and now android 4.4 KitKat update has also been confirmed on NTT DoCoMo Xperia Z SO2-02E variant in form of 10.5.B.0.410 firmware. Android 4.4 update over NTT DoCoMo Xperia Z is available as an OTA update, size 584.8 MB.

Android 4.4 10.5.B.0.410 firmware update brings updated Sony Walkman application, lock screen, status bar UI. “sp mode email” is replaced by “docomo mail”. Updating over to newer KitKat version then you can’t roll back to previous version.

New Sony Social Smart Camera app is also spotted in the update. New Xperia themes, wallpapers, quick settings options, ability to switch between notifications and quick settings tab are also present. Take screenshot option is added in the power menu now.

    Hi , I am using sony xperia z. Recently I updated the OS to kitkat 4.4.2, from that day I am facing an issue.

    The issue is the keypad is working for first 10 minutes after starting the mobile,after that its not responding,If I want to use the key pad again I am restarting the mobile

    Is there any fix to resolve this?
