Sony has officially launched Xperia Z2 in Taiwan and China, 4G LTE model now available on China Mobile carrier. In other parts of the world Xperia Z2 has not been launched till now while pre-orders started in early March but not anymore available on Sony Mobile Online stores across Europe. Hands on pics of Xperia Z2 China Mobile 4G / China Unicom version have come up and some design changes are noticed as compared to global version of Xperia Z2.

Specs of both global version of Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 China Mobile 4G / China Unicom version is same while some of the hardware design change has been done in the Xperia Z2 China Mobile 4G / China Unicom version, let see in detail. You will see even the white color has a contrast difference in both models.

Length of Xperia Z2 China Unicom version is more than global Xperia Z2 version.

3 MIC holes at bottom have been removed from the Xperia Z2 China Unicom version. Strap hole is also removed from the Xperia Z2 China Unicom version.

Checking the left profile of both models you can see difference; 2 slots are there in Xperia Z2 China Unicom model viz Micro SD and Micro SIM card slot along with magnetic charging dock pins while Xperia Z2 global version has only Micro SIM and USB port.

We hope Sony will soon launch Xperia Z2 globally also, it has not been shipped yet for the pre-orders taken in Europe. We will keep you updated as soon as we get more info on it.

    where is the microphone located in the Chinese version?

    I don’t see the 3 holes on the bottom! lol

    Z2 global .

    Because Global Xperia Z2 looks more like flagship module.

    also the Xperia Z2 China Unicom make me feel like
    Glue taste (such as medium class mobile )

    The blue dot in Google Maps shows I’m moving in the correct direction, but the arrow indicating… what? Direction? Facing? It points in almost the opposite direction. Why is this? (My fblt Z ULTRA KIT KAT)

    I bought this Phone (SONY Xperia Z2 L50u) and once arrived in my home country, all USSD codes (*110#, *111*…..#, *140#, *182#, *150#, ………) could not work.

    The phone itself is okey, but I don’t know what I can do with it, because all USSD codes are denied.

    Any help guys?
