In the middle of android 4.3 update crisis for Xperia SP, T, V and TX; Sony has just rolled a new bug fixing android 4.3 10.4.1.B.0.101 firmware update for Xperia Z, Xperia ZR and Xperia ZL officially. A few days ago 14.2.A.1.136 firmware update was rolled for Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra and this new 10.4.1.B.0.101 firmware brings similar improvements. Sony rolled first android 4.3 10.4.B.0.569 firmware for Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z.
Sony Mobile has just tweeted that they are rolling 10.4.1.B.0.101 firmware for Xperia Z, ZL and ZR and for Xperia Tablet Z ETA will be told new week. In the changelog of 10.4.1.B.0.101 firmware update, they mentioned “brings BT connectivity, battery, YouTube app improvements & more“.

We have not seen any user getting 10.4.1.B.0.101 firmware update till now, it seems it is still seeding and gradual rollout will be done soon depending upon the regions. We have not got it yet on our Xperia Z C6602 in India. Sony has update on the software support pages for Xperia Z, ZL and ZR with 10.4.1.B.0.101 firmware details dated today.

Mate z1 just got this bug fixing update 1.136 firmware which Xz has got now so you should be happy that you got it before them..
Now if any more bug fixing update comes for Z1, i’ll be surprised…minor can come.

Never trust rumors but sure not coming in a week, hope we see Sonys official statement on it soon.
We think KitKat will be shown on Sony D6503 at MWC event first then Z1 will get it…otherwise no point of making KitKat exclusive…
If internals are to be trusted kitkat is not coming for next one months its still in testing 14.3.a.x.xxx firmware very buggy not stable.

Mate Singapore FTF link is for Xperia ZL, DO NOT flash on XZ it will brick your device.
You are only allowed to flash XZ any region ftf on any region XZ device.

Flashing some other region’s ftf will give you additional settings in menu, apps if lte or hspa network present there.
Either your flash lte / hspa ftf lte will give some additioanl basesband settings.
Flashing other regions ftf only give you regional app more if there is any. Your concern should be of lte or hspa ftf.

Yes you will get future minor major updates but depending upon the region’s roll out date. Every region has different update schedule, so you better flash back your region’s ftf whenever available.

hello Anuag kumar are they fix the superior auto issue in camera ..cause after 4.3 update (in jan-2014) i can take only 9mp resolution in superior auto mode…

There is No ETA for OTA. One question to ask why everyone asks for OTA, why don’t you people update via PC Companion, what’s the problem.
To Downgrade, flash the 4.2.2 ftf file, No root needed for flashing, no warranty void, no bootloader unlock needed.
