How to use case ?

  • Slide the button towards “ON” tag on case and it is power on, then check the battery level and put your Xperia Z Ultra inside the case.
  • Make sure magnetic dock pins of case fits well to Xperia Z Ultra, if it does, charging takes place 😉

P.S. Soon we will post the pics of Xperia Z Ultra inside the case.

Xperia Z Ultra 4000mAh Mugen Power Battery Case is a bit heavy due to its larger size and the battery plate embedded in its lower portion. As when it charges Xperia Z Ultra, it gets somewhat heated due to induction from the case.

Charging Results

  • It took us around 5-6 hours to charge the case fully with the AC Adapter came with our Xperia Z1.
  • While charging Xperia Z Ultra from 0-53% , the case got discharged completely and it took around 2 hours 50 minutes to do that.

Well we have used so many battery case till now for Xperia Z, Xperia Z1 and all gives similar results due to lower output power given by case to phone..

Pros

  • Durable, easy to use.
  • Can charge your Xperia Z Ultra upto 50-60%.

Cons

  • Too expensive, many cheaper case are available in market.
  • Too much time taken to charge the case.

Mugen Power is well-recognized brand when it comes for external battery case, so it’s purely users wish to got with cheap cases or with a brand, well after using so many case Mugen Power case heats a bit less as compared to others and fits well.

Thanks Mugen Power Battery Fattafa Ltd for sending this in for review 🙂

Do let us know if you are using battery power case from Mugen Power or some other brand, we would like to hear about the alternatives present in market, cheaper they are more preferable to users they are 😛

Thanks! A rep from Mugen told me that the Z Ultra case was around 100g, but that can´t be true then. Would love if you could include weight to your reviews, important for outdoor use and hiking.

yes sure mate will include it. Ok, Let us weigh it accurately using a weigh machine, will update you.
We compared it with our Z1, it felt so light, it means it is lighter then 160-170 grams…need to find accurate weight.

    I could bet that there is a 3.7v 2500mAh li-ion battery inside that 4000mAh case 😉
