Do you remember 4 days back we posted about leaked screenshots and changelog of Xperia S, SL, Acro S 6.2.B.1.96 firmware, soon it was expected that we may see some official news regarding 6.2.B.1.96 firmware update officially and here it is now 🙂

Xperia S, SL, Acro S 6.2.B.1.96 firmware Screenshots Changelog Leaked

Xperia S, SL, Acro S 6.2.B.1.96 firmware certified by PTCRB

Just now dated 13 August we spotted PTCRB certifying same 6.2.B.1.96 firmware for Xperia S LT26i, Xperia SL LT26ii and Xperia Acro S LT26w, as earlier also all three handsets were updated with same firmware.

 Tipster who posted the leaked changelog and details regarding 6.2.B.1.96 firmware says that it fixes many previous bugs which were present on Jelly Bean 6.2.B.0.211 firmware which got a lot many criticism from Xperia S, SL and Acro S users world wide.

Expected bugs to be fixed in this update are:-

  • 1080p Full HD video lag.
  • 2G Data connectivity bug.
  • Purplish tint in camera pics.
  • 2x Battery drain bug.
  • Volume up and down buttons bug.

Other major bug was Wi-Fi bug which many users from Syria reported furiously to us.

We strongly hope that in this new Jelly Bean 6.2.B.1.96 firmware update for Xperia S, SL and Acro S, Sony will fix those bugs as with these bugs on these three handsets are a total mess.

    Great news Anurag, syrian users were frustrated with this Wi-Fi silly problem.
    but i hope this will not be the last we see from Jelly Bean!
