Ratan Tata invests in Xiaomi

Xiaomi announced today a very good news that Ratan Tata, chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons has made an investment in the company officially and he became the first Indian to do so. Talking about investments, earlier Xiaomi raised $1.1 Billion in Dec 2014, at a valuation of $45 Billion.

A few days back Xiaomi launched its latest flagship smartphone Mi 4i in India. Xiaomi has again partnered with Flipkart and they will be selling Mi 4i through Flipkart for the time being. 225,000 customers have already registered to purchase a limited number of handsets if you are willing to get one, register it here to purchase it on April 30, 2015 at 2 PM.

Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, says: “Mr. Tata is one of the most well-respected business leaders in the world.
