Sony M51w aka Xperia Z1 Mini Chinese Version CLEAR Pics Leaked – To feature IPS Display ?

A few hours left only now for Sony’s official press conference at CES 2014 Las Vegas event where Sony might introduce the Xperia Z1 Mini international version ( Sony D5503 ) and hopefully Xperia Z1s also ( which as per image and specs leaked by Twitter handle of @evleaks earlier today claims that it is the 4.3 inch 720p screen T-Mobile USA version of Xperia Z1 ). Right before the CES event we have spotted some the best ever pics leaked of Xperia Z1 Mini.

A tipster from Digi-Wo has posted 7 legitimate CLEAR pics leaked ever of Xperia Z1 Mini Chinese Version ( which will be exactly similar to international version ) claimed as Sony M51w which was recently certified by Ministry of Industry ( China ) alongside with Sony L39u and Sony XM50h. Sony China is organizing a press conference on 14 Jan 2014 where they will officially announce Xperia Z1 Mini Chinese version aka Sony M51w. Let’s have a look what leaked pics has us to tell about profile of device…

As per the source, Sony M51w aka Xperia Z1 Mini Chinese Version / Xperia Z1 Mini international version will feature 720p 4.3 inch IPS display and has a better display that Xperia Z1.

Front cam is positioned at very right end above screen.

Screen looks better than Xperia Z1 ( as per tipster ).

Sony’s “G” lens 20.7 MP rear cam with LED flash positioned in line with rear cam sensor.

No ports/flaps on right vertical side of phone, though in Xperia Z1 we have SIM card slot.

SIM card slot, magnetic charging dock pins, micro SD card and USB Port at left vertical side of phone.

Exactly same branding of Sony and Xperia on back panel of phone.

Actual model name of international version of Xperia Z1 Mini has not come up yet. Other specs of Xperia Z1 Mini international version which has come across are :-

Is Sony M51w/Xperia Z1 Mini version launching in China on 14 January 2014 ?

Yesterday we saw Sony L39u, Sony XM50h and Sony M51w models being certified by Chinese Ministry of Industry and rumors says that Sony M51w is the Chinese version of Xperia Z1 F ( Japanese Version ). Just now Sony Mobiles China has hinted that a new device is coming on 14 January 2014.

Pic displays four patches of color viz. Yellow, Black, White, Pink on a gray background and notation reads 14 January 2014. 4 colors resemble those 4 colors in which Xperia Z1 F was launched in Japan. Well it clearly indicates that Xperia Z1 Mini is coming in China and globally too.

Xperia Z1 Mini / Sony D5503 Back Panel Clear Image Surfaced Again

Just 7 days before CES 214 event another very clear image of so called Xperia Z1 Mini international edition i.e. Sony D5503 has surfaced up. As per the tipster on forum Digi-Wo it may see its launch in China on 3 Jan 2014 hopefully ( Chinese edition ). Leaked image of Xperia Z1 Mini / Sony D5503 Back Panel resembles very much to previous leaked images of Sony D5503.

Check below the leaked image of Xperia Z1 Mini / Sony D5503 Back Panel . Image clearly shows 20.7 MP Cam branding with “G” Lens, Flash in horizontal direction with camera lens as compared to Xperia Z1 where it is below camera lens and a 3.5mm heapdhone jack slightly position towards center with a Sony and Xperia branding at back panel.

Xperia Z1 Mini / Sony D5503 images have been leaked number of times in past one month. It has been spotted running Android 4.3 14.2.A.0.205 firmware and with impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of 35485.

If rumors are to be believed we may see Sony launching Xperia Z1 Mini / Sony D5503 and Xperia Z1S ( Facelift edition ) of Xperia Z1 at CES 2014 event or MWC2014.

Xperia Amami / Sony D5503 passes on FCC running android 4.3 14.2.A.0.144 firmware

Sony Xperia Amami has just been passed though FCC, well wondering which device is Xperia Amami. Well if rumors are to be believed Sony D5503 model which is speculated as Xperia Z1 Mini whose global model name is still not seen anywhere. There are rumors that Xperia Z1s is the international mini version of Xperia Z1 but if sources are to be believed like the pic leaked by Evleaks, Xperia Z1s may land as LTE version of Xperia Z1 in US which is expected to come out as model number C6916.

On FCC Xperia Amami is seen as 129 x 64.9mm in dimensions as exactly similar to pics of Sony D5503 model where front cam was on extreme right side and sensors on extreme left side. It is also noticed that it is running as android 4.3 14.2.A.0.144 firmware, though many lower builds of that firmware were also seen.

Check the dimension pic of Xperia Amami. Notice the headphone jack position, it is exactly similar to what Sony D5503 model have so it seems Xperia Amami is Sony D5503.

In past we have seen many pics of Sony D5503 model besides Xperia Z1 and in one annotation it reads it may not be called as Xperia Z1s. The name of Xperia Z1 Mini / Sony D5503 model is still a mystery which be only be revealed by Sony very soon hopefully.

Xperia Z1 f aka Xperia Z1 Mini Officially Announced in Japan – Specifications Listed

Finally the much rumored Xperia Z1 Mini is announced but hey wait, is it a global announcement, no not yet. The name is not Xperia Z1 Mini but it is Xperia Z1 f SO-02F which has been officially announced today by Sony Japan and will be coming under NTT DoCoMo tag as usual. Xperia Z1 SO-01F also came to existence besides Xperia Z1 f SO-02F today.

Japanese version of Xperia Z1 follows some additional features like 32 GB internal memory, IR blaster as compared to global Xperia Z1 C6902 and C6903/6 versions.

Sony Mobile Japan has listed Xperia Z1 f aka Xperia Z1 Mini specifications and features on their website. As previously rumored Xperia Z1 f will be available in 4 vibrant colors white, black, pink and lime ( yellow ).

Formal announcement came today at NTT DoCoMo 2013-2014 winter spring models launch event in Japan.

A month is about to pass since we saw official unveiling Sony Xperia Z1 and now we just spotted a brochure leak showing specifications of Xperia Z1 (SO-01F) and Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F) aka Xperia Homami Mini which is rumored a lot since Xperia Z1 launched. Brochure seems to be a part of NTT DoCoMo’s new handset launch in Japan.

Brochure leak shows three colors of Xperia Z1 (SO-01F) aka Xperia Z1 in Black, White and Purple and Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F) rumored to be Xperia Honami Mini in 4 colors, Black, White, Red/Pink and Yellow seems just like the colors in which iPhone C was launched.

We hope above brochure leak is a true one and Xperia Honami Mini as Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F) comes soon in the market. No info regarding the price is put on now, but definitely soon it will revealed also.

Xperia Z1 Mini snapped beside Xperia Z1 pic leaks – Rumored CES 2014 Launch

Xperia Z1 has been officially unveiled at IFA 2013 Berlin and it was exactly same as all the leaks depicted before its official launch. Xperia Z1 is insanely powerful but what users were also expecting that “Xperia Z1 Mini” aka “Xperia Honami Mini” will also launch at IFA 2013 but that wasn’t the case.

Not very much credible info has been posted in leaks of Xperia Z1 Mini, but this sometime something very clear has been popped up for Xperia Z1 Mini.

In a clear photograph below, Purple Xperia Z1 Mini ( Xperia Honami Mini ) has been snapped beside 2 Xperia Z1 handsets ( Black and Purple ). Pic clearly says that Xperia Z1 Mini is of same style in design as Xperia Z1 is.

Note : It is not clear that how much credible above specifications of Xperia Z1 Mini are but the pic of Xperia Z1 Mini very clearly says about it’s design. Above pic can be a photoshopped material also, but something is really cooking at Sony’s camp in “Mini” version.

Xperia Z1 Mini is rumored to be launched during CES 2014 Event like in CES 2013 we saw Sony launching Xperia Z. Till now only this much we have on Xperia Z1 Mini, if anything else pops up we will let you know.

If Xperia Z1 Mini comes with the same specs of processor, RAM, Cam, water and dust resistance it will surely be a powerhouse and will attract a lot attention from users.
