Sony India to hold press conference on 26 June – Xperia Z3+ Launching?

Sony Mobile is holding a press conference on 26 June in India. Earlier Sony India had a press conference on 26 May where we saw Xperia M4 Aqua Dual and Xperia C4 Dual getting launched and this time on 26 June we can expect Xperia Z3+ getting launched in India.

Annotation on the invite reads as “Block Your Date, Friday 26 June 2015“; event will be held in New Delhi. As Sony mentioned that Xperia Z3+ will see a global launch therefore seeing Xperia Z3+ getting launched in India on 26 June makes sense.

Xperia M4 Aqua Dual and Xperia C4 Dual are already selling in India. Xperia M4 Aqua Dual is priced at Rs 24990 (available at Flipkart India  & Amazon India) and Xperia C4 Dual is priced at Rs 29490.

Chances of seeing Xperia Z4 Tablet getting launched on 26 June in India is very less, though the time will tell.

Sony having Press Event in India on 26 May – Water resistance Xperia to be launched

Sony Mobile is about to have a press event on 26 May in India at New Delhi where they will be launching a new Xperia smartphone with water resistance certification as judged from their media invite sent to us. Annotation on the invite reads as “Block Your Date, Tuesday 26 May 2015”.

In 2015, Sony launched only two water resistance certified Xperia smartphones i.e. Xperia M4 Aqua globally at MWC and Xperia Z4 in Japan exclusively along with Xperia Z4 Tablet so we can see any one of them or all at the press event getting unveiled.

As you can clearly figure out from the press invite that Xperia device which is to be launched will definitely have water resistance certification so chances of either Xperia M4 Aqua or Xperia Z4 (or both) getting launched are there.

[ UPDATE 23/05/15 ] Sony will announce Xperia Z4 in China on 26 May

It is in rumors that Sony might not launch Xperia Z4 specifically to other markets except Japan, so we might see Xperia Z3+ getting launched (revamped version of Xperia Z3). Xperia Z3+ was recently spotted in the white paper of Sony Style Cover SCR30 for Xperia Z4.
