Sony came up with flagship water resistant Xperia “Z” series and now series of Sony Underwater Apps have been spotted on Play Store which automatically detects when your phone is under water and comes in play then. At present Sony Underwater Apps are exclusive for T-Mobile Xperia Z1s and Xperia Z in USA.

At present Sony Underwater Apps are officially not working on other Xperia water resistant handsets like Xperia Z1, Ultra, Z, ZR, Z2. To make Sony Underwater Apps work on your device other than Xperia Z1s and Xperia Z ( T-Mobile ) you need to edit your build.prop file to phone model as C6916.

To avoid above glitch kindly change the phone model in build.prop file ( on rooted handsets )
