Xperia Z2 vs Xperia Z2 China Mobile 4G / Unicom Design Comparison

Sony has officially launched Xperia Z2 in Taiwan and China, 4G LTE model now available on China Mobile carrier. In other parts of the world Xperia Z2 has not been launched till now while pre-orders started in early March but not anymore available on Sony Mobile Online stores across Europe. Hands on pics of Xperia Z2 China Mobile 4G / China Unicom version have come up and some design changes are noticed as compared to global version of Xperia Z2.

Specs of both global version of Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 China Mobile 4G / China Unicom version is same while some of the hardware design change has been done in the Xperia Z2 China Mobile 4G / China Unicom version, let see in detail. White Sony D6503 Sirius vs Xperia Z1 vs Xperia Z Real Pics Comparison Leaked

Till now we have seen Sony D6503 Sirius in various alleged leaks showing it by the side of Xperia Z1, its full KitKat UI, its 4k Video Camera app and 60fps recording in 1080p video mode well just now saw some more clear pics of Sony D6503 Sirius in black and white color, besides Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z where you can exactly compare the dimensions of each phone. As per leaks Sony D6503 features android 4.4.2 KitKat with a new refreshed Xperia UI, Snapdragon 800 processor MSM8974AB SoC, 5.2″ disply with IPS panel and Triluminos display for mobile, 16 GB onboard memory with 3 GB RAM and 20.7 MP rear cam.

Two pics have been leaked by a tipster from Digi-Wo where he has shown Sony D6503 Sirius in comparison with Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z. If the tipster is to be believed he says “Sony D6503 is Xperia Z2 whose listing will go live in April and it comes with Sony logo no longer printed on anti-shatter film“. We can’t confirm the exact model name of Sony D6503, for the time being take this info with a pinch of salt 😉

Commercial name of Sony D6503 is still under shadow and no leak till now have confirmed that it will be called Xperia Z2, but it will take over the legacy of Xperia Z1 and Sony SGP521 tablet will take over Xperia Tablet Z as new flagship device.

As per the people surveyed by Strategy Analytics, below results were obtained. All the below results are obtained by the assessment of various people. All the captured images were shown to consumers in 3 different formats, first printed on A6 size glossy photo paper, second on the displays of respective devices and third on a 40″ HD screen.

All images were to be rated on a scale of 1-5, where 5 being extremely good and 1 being extremely poor.

In baby asleep scenario, image captured from Xperia Z1 Compact were much brighter than any others.
In toy train scenario, Xperia Z1 Compact captured image was rated higher and pic captured from Galaxy S4 Mini followed it.
In party scenario, pic captured from Xperia Z1 Compact got highers rating and very close to ratings of pic captured by Galaxy S4 Mini and iPhone 5S.
In building at dusk scenario, pics captured from Xperia Z1 Compact and iPhone 5C has almost similar ratings.
In close up shot of wrinkled face scenario, pic captured from iPhone 5C and iPhone 5s got highest number of ratings.

P.S. It is hard to believe that picture quality in dark, in first scenario of iPhone 5s is that bad, we seriously doubt that set of pic sample.

Xperia Z1 Compact has 2300 mAh battery in-built just like Xperia Z1 but still it has managed to give better battery life than Xperia Z1.

Xperia Z1 Compact battery test – Talk Time

Xperia Z1 Compact has easily managed to get talk time of 20 hours and 42 minutes on 3G network where Xperia Z1 managed to get more than 26 hours of talk time on 3G network and Xperia Z Ultra getting more than 24 hours of talk time as per GsmArena’s test. Xperia SP and Xperia ZR are similar devices with same battery power like Xperia Z1 Compact and have talk time of around 19 and 17 hours respectively.

Xperia Z1 Compact has nearly double talk time compared to iPhone 5S and beats iPhone 5S talk time of 10 hours by very large margin.

Xperia Z1 Compact battery test – Web Browsing time

Xperia Z1 Compact has 4.3″ 720p IPS display panel with Triluminos for mobile. Xperia Z1 Compact has managed to get more than 12 hours of web browsing ( 12 hours and 37 minutes ) , where Xperia Z1 managed to get only 6 hours of web browsing time. Xperia C and Xperia ZR are the devices which managed to get 12 hours and 11 hours of web browsing time respectively as per GsmArena test.

Xperia Z1 Compact gives double video play back time of more than 10 hours as when compared to Xperia Z1 and similar to iPhone 5s.

Sony has done fairly very god job in making Xperia Z1 Compact and providing a bigger 2300 mAh battery as compared to other mini handsets which has a very good 65 hours endurance rating after the overall test performed by GsmArena.

Xperia Z1 got only 53 hours of endurance rating and here again, Xperia Z1 Compact beats Xperia Z1 in terms of battery back up also.

Sony D6503 Sirius camera photo samples leaked, compared with Xperia Z1

Sony D6503 aka Sony Sirius which has been unofficially announced as the real pics of Sony D6503 have been leaked weeks ago with an overview of what Sony has planned for users on Xperia Android 4.4.2 KitKat 4.4.2 UI. A much before that we saw Sony D6503 allegedly appearing in the AnTuTu Benchmark database and scoring 29745 points. Sony D6603 has also been spotted but with no images till now.

As you know Sony D6503 Sirius features same 20.7 MP rear cam with Sony “G” lens exactly like Xperia Z1, users were asking for the camera photo samples of it to check whether it’s camera quality is better than Xperia Z1 or not. Let us tell you clearly that Sony D6503 features same cam as Xperia Z1, only the firmware featured is different that’s why you may find a great difference in the camera photo samples of both.

Camera Mode :- Below pic is taken in “superior auto mode” with flash on.

In above set of pics, pic taken from Sony D6503 appeared more bright and detailed.

NOTE :- In above set of pics, flash light is not seen on the pic sample of Xperia Z1 in TV, we too have commented in the original post by “iRimas” regarding this clarification but no words from him till now.

Camera Mode :- Below pic is taken in a room with no light ( dark room ) “superior auto mode” with flash on.

In above set of pics, Xperia Z1 photo sample appeared more clear.

P.S. We will soon be uploading the original camera resolution pics from Sony D6503 with the exif data.

As both Sony D6503 and Xperia Z1 shares same piece of hardware in rear camera, it seems except the firmware nothing is different in them. As when the firmware will be ready in final retail version on Sony D6503 we may find more better pics from it and same is expected from Xperia Z1 on android 4.4.2 KitKat 14.3.A.X.XXX firmware which Sony has already started testing.

Xperia Z1 vs Sony D6503 aka Sony Sirius Comparison

Xperia Z1 and Sony D6503 features same design, with some changes in the ports location and speakers.

Xperia Z1 has one speaker at the bottom side while Sony D6503 has dual speakers one at the top near notification light and one the bottom side where Xperia Z1 has in form of pin holes.

Bigger Dimensions

Sony D6503 is bit larger in dimensions when compared to Xperia Z1 and has bigger screen also. Xperia Z1 features 5″ 1080p display while Sony D6503 features 5.2″ 1080p display.
