Xperia Z4 402SO gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow 32.1.D.0.284 firmware update from SoftBank

Xperia Z4 402SO has got Android 6.0 Marshmallow 32.1.D.0.284 firmware update in Japan from SoftBank carrier. Sony has already released Android 6.0 and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware update on Xperia Z5, Z3 and Z2 series.

Sony Mobile posted open source archives for 32.1.D.0.284 firmware recently and now update has been successfully confirmed on Xperia Z4 402SO.

Sony’s first Android Marshmallow build didn’t feature STAMINA Mode in the battery settings but Marshmallow 32.1.D.0.284 firmware update for Xperia Z4 402SO has STAMINA Mode.

Those users who still haven’t got the update yet, can flash the 32.1.D.0.284 firmware ftf on their device. Flashing requires no root. (Tutorial here).
