Xperia Z3 Compact has seen two new firmware updates today in form of 23.1.A.0.726 & 23.2.A.0.278 firmware build (Android 5.0.2 update). 23.2.A.0.278 firmware is confirmed on Xperia Z3 Compact D5803 in Germany on a carrier handset and same build is also confirmed for Xperia Z3 users in Germany.
23.1.A.0.726 firmware update is confirmed rolling on Xperia Z3 Compact D5803 and D5833 in Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Australia. Both newly released firmwares are bug fixing updates.

I am a bit at a loss as to why certain countries are already receiving 5.0.2 while other countries are still waiting for 5.0…
Sony directly rolled Android 5.0.2
There is no Android 5.0 for Any Xperia.
Updates are regional so one has to wait otherwise you can flash the firmware ftf, download via XperiFirm tool.
After testing the new update i can say that i never have any problem accept that when i’m using the camera on the manual mode , when i reduce the iso to 50 the screen went dark . I did not have this problem before . Every thing else working perfectly .
I am facing heating issues! Also, the battery life, which used to be around 35+ hours now goes dry in less than 20 hours. Shocking!
Also, many apps are getting force closed after moving them to sd card. I’m planning to factory reset it, if all this goes on for next couple of days.
Since I updated, my battery life is atrocious, loosing 1% per minute plus I plugged in my charger when it was 40% for appropriately 12hours & the battery only reached 88%. Haven’t reached full charge yet in 2days!!
