A few days back Sony released a statement on Twitter that they are in final stage of testing Android Lollipop update and it will be released soon, no exact ETA is given yet. On the other hand at MWC 2015 Sony unveiled Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia M4 Aqua with Android 5.0.2 out of the box.

Different videos and pics captured from Xperia M4 Aqua clearly showed what exactly is Sony holding up for users in their Xperia Lollipop UI. Earlier we posted what Sony’s new Lollipop lockscreen look like and today below you will see Sony Xperia Lollipop UI vs KitKat UI Comparison.

    Hi,
I like the black screen on my xperia phone a lot better than the grey one you are showing in the second set of pictures. Also I would like to see you keep the Walkman application name and icon because it sets this phone apart from the rest, everyone has music apps and you can download load those also, but nobody else has the Walkman application.

In most cases, I prefer the KitKat design.
It looks cleaner and more structured.
Part of the Lollipop problems are the colours that tend towards garish but another theme could fix that. Still, the KitKat designs look more organised (albeit less flash) to me and seem to support more direct access.
    I don’t think I’ll upgrade.

    Dear Friend,

I am using Xperia C3 and want to update to Lollipop. But officially sony has not revealed lollipop update for Xpeira C3.
Is there any way to update my phone to Lollipop unofficially or any other way..??
