Sony has started rolling officially android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Xperia M2 single SIM variants i.e D2303 LTE and D2305 HSPA+ in form of 18.3.C.0.37 and 18.3.A.0.31 firmware respectively. Xperia M2 KitKat update is still in seeding stage but confirmed in regions like Russia, Singapore, Thailand, France.
Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is only spotted for Xperia M2 D2303 LTE variant in form of 18.3.C.0.37 firmware while on HSPA+ version D2305 it still has not been spotted. Update is available over PC Companion only for the time being.

Just one question if you don’t mind!
The Xperia 2 2303 isn’t on the list of devices that can unlock their boot loader. So I can’t use the flashtool to flash the firmware, isn’t that right?

Sony Xperia M2 D2303, comes with unlocked bootloader.
And that mean: you will be able to use Flashtool app.
Ihave xperia m2 dual d2302 it is also not in the bootloader unlock list in developer website of sony. Will it come r not reply plz
