10.5.A.0.233 firmware certified for Xperia Z, ZL, ZR, Tablet Z

Much awaited Android 4.4.2 KitKat build was released for Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z by Sony recently in form of 10.5.A.0.230 firmware update but unfortunately along with many cool features of KitKat it brought a very problematic battery drain bug with it. Xperia Z KitKat users on 10.5.A.0.230 firmware are reporting a battery drain issue due to Google Play Services latest version which Sony support recently acknowledged on its forum also.

Just now 10.5.A.0.233 firmware is certified on PTCRB for Xperia Z, ZL , ZR and Tablet Z which if rolled out will be the second release of KitKat build so far. 10.5.A.0.233 firmware is certified for all variants of above mentioned Xperia handsets. Xperia Z 10.5.A.0.233 firmware certified for C6602, C6603 on PTCRB.

Xperia ZL 10.5.A.0.233 firmware certified for C6502, C6503, C6506 on PTCRB.

Xperia ZR 10.5.A.0.233 firmware certified for C5503, C5502 on PTCRB.

Xperia Tablet Z 10.5.A.0.233 firmware certified for SGP321, SGP341, SGP351 on PTCRB.

  with my xperia ZL it is same no pictures shown. using chrome in ZL. rest of content is good.

      just tried to open recent posts on my ZL with chrome and it shows images. Thanks for fixing.

Hi i have a Sony Xperia Z tablet any chances of it getting any new firmware updates in the near future or atleast get a basic update as im unhappy with it a year into purchasing it.

I have heating issue which in 4.3 were not exist. And animation lagging + in some apps like clock setting it appears some colored lines like when you play a crashed video.

Hey bro do you know when Sony is releasing 4.4.2 for Xperia Z in India? It has been a month they confirmed for release still no update. Can we use US generic 4.4.2 for C6602 in India? Is there any issues while using it?
