Xperia M2 which came into existence at MWC 2014, has already seen its launch in India a few days back and soon will be available on Sony Online stores across European regions. Xperia M2 features 4.8″ qHD Display, Snapdragon 400 SoC 1.2 GHz quad core processor ( MSM8926 / MSM8226 ) with Adreno 305 GPU. Xperia M2 packs 8 MP rear cam, HD video recording, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and external SD card support up to 32 GB.

Two new firmwares have been certified for Xperia M2 on PTCRB viz. 18.0.A.1.33 firmware and 18.0.C.1.15 firmware. 18.0.C.1.15 firmware is certified for Xperia M2 D2306 and D2303 while 18.0.A.1.33 firmware certified for Xperia M2 D2305 variant. These certifications of firmware clearly indicates Sony is upgrading the Xperia M2 firmware for its global retail launch.
