Xperia L 15.3.A.1.17 firmware update rolling

Exactly a month back we saw 15.3.A.1.17 firmware getting certified for Xperia L C2105, C2104 on PTCRB which was later removed from PTCRB; has started rolling now. We saw 15.3.A.1.16 firmware getting rolled on Orange carrier in Europe on Xperia L and earlier we saw 15.3.A.1.14 firmware getting rolled on Xperia L globally.

Sony has released a new bug fixing 15.3.A.1.17 firmware update for Xperia L today, confirmed on both C2104 and C2105 models now in regions like France, Germany, Hungary, Singapore, Saudi Arabia etc. Xperia L still remains on android 4.2.2 version and we hope Sony soon releases a major update.

If you haven’t got the Xperia L 15.3.A.1.17 firmware update yet, then download the 15.3.A.1.17 firmware ftf from below mentioned link and flash it manually using flashtool.

Has any C2104 user received this new update??? Anurag please get me know this… I don’t think the update is for indian version.

sony bug fixing update creates more bugs then fixing them, i do not recieve this update on my c2104 but hope the proximity bug and multitouch are going to fix by this update and also i am waiting for 4.3 jb update as it brings new camera features which can could come in handy cause this phone has 8 mp camera.

Hi,

I’m unable to install update. its keeps showing me “Could not install new Software version. Try again.”

I tried about 2-3 times. But no luck.

Please help me.

I am using Xperia L with firmware 15.3.A.1.17 this update has a bug that is the proximity sensor stays on when use earphone, handsfree, or loudspeaker. It happens when I disconnect call and use power button to get screen on.

i got error when i flash with flashtool it says
