A lot rumored Xperia M android 4.3 update is finally live, Sony Mobile has just started rolling android 4.3 15.4.A.0.23 firmware update for Xperia M C1904, C1905. In past we have seen evidence of 15.4.A.0.21 firmware for Xperia M and 15.5.A.0.16 firmware for Xperia M Dual getting certified on PTCRB. Sony has updated Xperia M android 15.4.A.0.23 firmware on it’s software support page while no android 4.3 update yet seen for Xperia M Dual but it should come sooner or later now.

Android 4.3 15.4.A.0.23 firmware for Xperia M is confirmed rolling in regions like Poland, Belgium, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Philippines. 15.4.A.0.23 firmware is confirmed getting via PC Companion and SUS, on OTA seen yet.

Look for a 15.4.A.0.23 firmware update notification on your PC Companion as shown below and proceed as per on screen instructions.

    its running fine… smoother than ever.. can say best ever build for xperia m… one known bug is theme.apk is not getting installed from sony select

    Just simply push the apk to system/app

    and dont forget to change the permission to rw-r–r–

    No better ram
    Better graphics with open gl 3.0
    and you cannot move any apps to memory card .

    And i pushed the theme to system/app and working .. But better option this to install the theme install bugfix and replace home.apk with xperia z1 home.apk .And no matter what theme you install volume slider will be vanished when theme is applied ..

    firstly it change my c1904 model no to c1905
    secondly i cant able to root it again using frameroot, imactor, oneclick,evrything i tryed…:( . i searched in every form wesites but there no way even in xda i didnt find anything please
    get some way to root xperia m

    hey after you update the update center app and refresh it you will get 4.3 update ota in india just download the new version of update center install and refresh it.!!!!!!!!!!!

    can i flash C2005 firmware on C2004 (xperia m dual) ? does it effect 3g or network connectivity as Brazil and India have different network bands.

    I have updated my Sony Xperia M c1904 to jelly bean 4.3 as it is shown how to update manually(without root)…after update I come to know that the backup and restore app does not restore the apps….I’m in a great confusion.I don’t have any contacts….thanks in advance….

    I assume the “PL” in C1905_15.4.A.0.23_Generic PL.ftf means it’s Polish. Is it safe to flash this to my English (UK) C1905?

      Yes but you will get some regional PL apps then and next time update will be released for your device as when it comes for PL region..
