Yes! I can confirm this. I sent an email to Sony and they replied with the following but did they mean another 4.2.2 update or 4.3/4.4??:

Thank you for contacting the Sony Xperia support centre.

In regards to your question about the xperia c and the update, kindly check the below:

There will be another update for your current software version however we do not have any information when it will be released as it is under investigation.

However the last android version for the Xperia c is 4.2.2
You can check the website for the last android version.

I hope the update on sony xperia c will bring changes significant enough in terms of performance because I had a little lag in the UI when doing transfer page. and the first time I am still using version 6, any application can not be installed on the sd card, and I hope sony will give kitkat.

  25. John March 30, 2014 at 8:05 am - Reply

Already update to 16.0.B.2.13 but the following 2 problems still not resolved:
    1. set ringtone in sd card will turn to default ringtone after every restart
    2. set input method in sd card will turn to default after every restart

It seems Xperia C still do not match with the Sandisk sd card.
