Install Xperia Z2 Home 6.2.1.A.0.1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat launcher

Almost all apps and features of Xperia Z2 Android 4.4.2 KitKat have now been ported on other Xperia smartphones and latest in addition is new Xperia Z2 Home 6.2.1.A.0.1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat launcher. In a few days span we have seen Xperia Z2 Smart call handling feature port, Xperia Z2 Camera apps Addons port – Creative Effects, AR Effect 2.0.4 , Background Defocus 1.1.7, TimeShift Video port and Xperia Z2 KitKat Media apps viz. Movies 6.1.A.0.4 and Walkman 8.1.A.0.4 app port, Xperia Z2 Phone Answering Machine port and Xperia Z2 What’s New, Movie Creator, Sony Podcast, Simple Home apps port, Xperia Z2 Message, Clock, Email, Calendar app port and Xperia Z2 Walkman Music Widget port.

At present Home 6.1.2.A.0.1 version is available on Android 4.3 Xperia Z1. You need root on your device to install Xperia Z2 Home 6.2.1.A.0.1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat launcher and better have SuperUserMod installed in order to avoid any issues with higher version android apps. Download the Xperia Z2 Home 6.2.1.A.0.1 from below, and push the apk in system/app, set permissions rw- r– r– and reboot. 3 Home apks are provided if one doesn’t work for you try the other ones, as for some users one worked but for others not.

I wanted to know can this home app be installed in android 4.1 jb with root access without unlocking the bootloader and flashing the Rom..?
I have xperia j and I want to install it, will it create any problem to the phone. incase it do how can I restores my previous home..
if possible kindly provide the album widget apk also

  for some 4.1 users it worked, try and let us know…back up your home apk and install it back if anything goes wrong.

The 2nd and the 3rd links are dead and it doesnt work for me on my ZL 4.3 deodexed rooted… When i rebooted i had no more home launcher and i followed every step, i put in system/app set permission,etc..? HELP ME!
